There are a number of reasons for choosing MDF for your bases, as it is made of recycled material it is more environmentally friendly than plastic alternatives, it will accept all types of glue and paint without having to prepare it first, it is easily re-cut or shaped with a craft knife or sandpaper, it is durable in normal conditions, versatile and available in any size you need for basing scenery and buildings.
