ABOUT TERRA FIRMA STUDIOS

I took the step of turning my long standing interest of war-gaming and modelling into a business at the end of 2008. Like most gamers I know, it all started with a few boxes of the Airfix plastic napoleonics and has developed into a full blown obsession.

For me the visual appeal of a table is as important as the ranks of immaculately painted figures that are played with. So I decided to produce a range of high quality and functional terrain, using the best products available. My terrain is certainly not the cheapest on the market, but quality does have an element of cost that is unavoidable.

I design and make all the terrain pieces myself, So please bear with me at times as I can get very busy. Details of my current workload are posted to the news page and the status is updated every Friday.

My customers are varied and I will let their comments stand as testimony to my work. I take pride in everything I do and believe that Customer service is an important element in everything I do.

I have recently started to expand and sell Items that I use. This came about because customers wanted me to be able to sell items I use. So for those who want to match up their bases to terrain that I have made or find something thats good quality for a modelling project you now can. To take this a step further I have decided to stock a wider variety of wargames related items and will be carrying Rules, figures and Paints also.

Occasionally things go wrong and I accept that not everything will go as planned. However I fully believe that it's how I deal with things that go wrong to maintain my reputation that makes me stand out from the crowd.

There are always things I can not control; deliveries from my suppliers, the Royal Mail etc.

What I can guarantee you is that you will always be able to contact me to find out what is happening, and I will do everything I reasonably can to ensure you end up happy.

Having used the terrain for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I can say with some satisfaction that my regular and long-time opponent Gary was not only impressed but distinctly envious.

The terrain pieces are individually very nice, but it is when they are set out en masse that the effect really strikes home. We stood there with a pre-game malt and just looked at the table for quite a while.

The woodland boards are especially good and highly detailed, adding greatly to the wargaming experience. I cannot recomend these terrain boards enough.
