March            05/03/10 - The flags have arrived and the page is now viewable the checkout will be added shortly. Further news on this

                            subject over the next couple of weeks will see the addition of sets for the remainder of the french infantry for 1812 with

                            the appropriate battle honours. This will then be followed by the cavalry, currently these are being scale tested against

                            several ranges for fit.

                            The situation with the order backlog is improving as the warmer weather arrives and i clear the very large number of

                            orders the site has received. Hopefully by the end of March everything will be back to normal.

February:    26/02/10 - Next week sees the arrival of  Napoleonic Flag sheets, Exclusively produced for Terra Firma Studios and

                            designed by Stuart of Maverick Models. The eight inital sets designed are all generic  patterns suitable for

                            French 1804 Line infantry flags, French 1804 Light infantry, French 1812 Line infantry (no battle honours)

                            & French 1812 Light Infantry (no battle honours) .

                            A major improvement is going to be made to the shopping cart in March as I move to Roman Cart, all transactions are

                            still fully secure and will be handled by Paypal. This should improve the checkout flow and allow overseas customer to

                            purchase directly, also there are better postal capabilities allowing me to weight base the orders thus having greater

                            accuracy and resolve issue around Postage and packaging that I cant resolve using Paypal alone.

                             09/02/10 - Having been rather ill for a few weeks but thankfully I am on the mend. I have made a few decisions about the

                             direction and way forward for my small business. I have been having a few supplier issues lately mainly with the flocks I

                             use, I hope to get this resolved but until I do I am keeping my remaining stock and have withdrawn it from sale.

                              The paint and adhesives are on their way to me as are the new Lasalle rule books. To complement the rules I will also be

                              stocking the correct sized bases and a new range of Napoleonic flags designed to fit 15mm figures.

January:       28/1/10 - Unfortunately there has been a problem with some of the decals while this issue is resolved I have suspended the

                             entire range. I expect the range to return in full and with new additions a total of 27 sets by the end of February.

                             For the Napoleonic fans out there, I will be adding the excellent Lasalle rules by Sam Mustafa to my ranges these can be

                             found under model and wargame supplies and using the heading books and will appear in the coming week as I do a small

                             site update.

                             I have also decided to start stocking the excellent Coat D'arms paints and shortly will have the full range of  25 triads

                             developed by Steve Dean, the well-known figure-painter. The initial 11 triads can be seen on Steve's website here:
                             www.sdean-forum.co.uk the range will be found under model and wargaing supplies and the heading paint again this will

                             appear as I carry out some site updates.

                             22/1/10 The glue negotiations are concluded for now and this range will appear in the coming two weeks, I have a new 

                             batch of decals, 3 DAK sets and brit para shoulder patches. Due to the number of confirmed commission orders for tables

                             the date has now been amended above to July as the next earliest start date. 

                             16/1/10 Hoping that negotiations for the range of glues will be concluded next week, I will then have stock to be able to sell,

                              having used this range of adhesive for a while now I can guarantee it will do the job. Have started to tackle the back orders

                              and despite only having had a couple of working days this week, have managed to clear a fair amount of work. The

                              weather has caused delays for all those waiting for layouts, as conditions have meant that I have been unable to do any

                              work on this side of the business until today.

                              8/1/10 I have decided to make it easier to see my current workload, so those details are posted above.

                              The Decals have arrived images are uploaded and checkout buttons will appear this weekend.  I have managed to get the

                              range of hills photographed so this weekend I will be completing the relevant sections of the site. 

                              Due to the adverse weather and the minus temperatures recorded I have been un able to carry out much work this week,

                              Please accept my apologies for the inevitable delays this will cause for some outstanding orders, Particularly those of you

                              that are awaiting river sections, but the low temperatures are not suitable for pouring resin.

                              4/1/10  Firstly Happy New Year to you all, Sadly the decals have not arrived as yet so I will suspend the page, and when

                              they do emerge from their transatlantic venture I will upload and commence the opening offer at that time.

                              Full table commission layouts- If you order now then the wait will be at least 3 months before commencement due to the

                              High volume of confirmed orders.

                              I have managed to source a range of the highest quality paint brushes, I have even obtained a Kolinsky Sable product

                              that is comparable, with the renowned Windsor & Newton series 7 brushes. All these brushes are hand made in the U.K.

                              to the highest standards, I will be also be stocking a slightly cheaper range of equally high quality quality in red sable.

                              These will be placed in the modelling supplies section and I expect them to be available within 2 weeks.

                              Despite my efforts to rebuild my stock levels of freestanding terrain over the last two weeks, the orders have still been

                              coming in at a high rate this will inevitably cause some delays in getting the orders dispatched, and it could be 3 to 4

                              weeks before you receive your order. If you have any concerns please contact me directly.

December:   29/12/09 Having a few technical problems with the remaining images for the fields and hedging ranges. The decals have

                             not yet arrived from the transatlantic adventure, I am hopeful of getting the intitial stocks before the New Year starts.

                             The terrain board section will be getting a complete overhaul in the New Year, to bring it up to the standard of the 

                             Freestanding and modelling sections. 

                             24/12/09 The Web site is progressing quite well and only two pages require checkout buttons to be completed, and most

                             photographs are now uploaded and made live. The special offers I held throughout 2009 will now change, There will be

                             some small changes to the prices as a result of the VAT changes, I dont charge it but have to pay it on my materials.

                             22/12/09 Progress so far, Checkout buttons added to trees and hedges, The new 28mm Range of hedges has been designed

                             and should I have some pictures tomorrow. The general pages have been updated, work will continue on the checkout

                             features for both the modelling and freestanding pages. Along side this I am slowly recovering the stock situation on the

                             most popular table top ranges. A new page will be visible from 1st of January 2010, each month I shall select one product

                             from my ranges and discount it by up to 20%.

                             18/12/09 Merry Christmas to all, Thankyou for the continued support you have given me this year, I wish you well and

                             I hope that the New Year is rewarding for you all. Over the next two weeks whilst I take a break to be with family, I will be

                             completely overhauling the site. As promised the missing checkout buttons will be added, current pages will be

                             completed and New ranges will be appearing. I will be changing all the current special offers as many have been held for

                             the entire year. So please accept my apology in advance if a particular page is unavailable, just pop back a day later and it

                             should reappear.

                             11/12/09 The sharp eyed amoung you will have noticed a new section on the modelling pages, I have negotiated with Dave

                             of Mustang gaming systems in the USA for the exclusive right to sell his decals sets. These are truly something special,

                             if you are looking to really customise your WWII armies this is a very good place to visit. Please note they are not available

                             to purchase yet, but will be available for the official launch in January, but as I like to give you a preview have loaded

                             05/12/09 The season of goodwill fast approaches, and currently I have several commissions being worked on in an effort

                             to get them completed before Christmas. I shall not be adding to the ranges before Christmas and will not be adding the

                             buttons to the the few items in the table top ranges without them,  this I shall do on my holiday so the pages are 

                             complete for the New Year. I apologise if this causes any problem but seemed the best option at present.

                             You can still place orders, These will be placed in the queue for commencement in January based on the order date.

November:   27/11/09 Check out the blog page for my current gaming project and the place to find some additional news and images of

                              work in progress.

                              22/11/09 I know I am away but I am starting to upload the images of the new road sections, please bear with me as

                              obviously until my return on tuesday I wont have the full opportunity to complete the page and add the prices or

                              checkout buttons. I hope you like the preview at least.

                              14/11/09 Currently developing a small range of  15mm Russian houses suitable for Napoleonic to WW2. Once mastered

                              these will be sent off to be resin cast. I do not expect these to be available until the New Year. However I shall upload some

                              images to the gallery once the initial buildings are completed.

                              09/11/09 The first batch of flexible roads are completed, and I am pleased to say these will be making a welcome addition

                              to my ranges, the 15mm version will have a average road width of 30mm, the 28mm version will have a 50/ 60 mm road

                              width. Currently these will only be available to order. I will upload some images shortly.

                              03/11/09 In development flexible road system for 15mm and 28mm scale gaming. Just completed all new style of 15mm

                              hedging, I shall be replacing the existing range of 15mm hedging with the new product over the next two days. The old

                              style of hedging will  no longer be available. Newly Mastered and hopefully available in December will be Bocage sections,

                              keep checking here for the latest developments and news. After this the 28mm range will be the next to be reworked in

                              the new style, (for those customers that have the old range of hedges they will be able to order additional pieces)

                              I shall no longer be accepting new orders on the old ranges in either scale for new customers, And have withdrawn the old

                              page.

October :        31/10/09  The new modelling supplies are being uploaded whilst this is carried out, I have decided to remove the PayPal

                              buttons to allow the viewing of the ranges as these are uploaded. The prices are already live so if you want to order while I

                              carry out these updates please use the ordering page.

                              26/10/09  All New Free U.K. Postage offers on most items in the freestanding terrain ranges, The pages have also been

                              reworked to improve the look and feel and make easier navigation of the site.

                              The launch of the flocks has been delayed while I sort the new modelling supplies ranges and check the shopping cart

                              buttons work.

                              08/10/09  NEW RANGE OF STATIC GRASS to be released shortly having taken stock of the initial range of  new range of 

                              static grasses. I will be photographing them and hoping to have them available for sale by 24/10/09.        

September:   30/09/09 illness has prevented any work for the last three weeks, I am hopeful of a return next week. It appears that

                               having picked up a virus, certain solvents I have been using for a long time have increased the problem. Therefore I will

                               be reworking a few products to eliminate any repercussions and permanent damage to health.

                              9/09/09 Freestanding items now back with new look pages, in addition to the three items mentioned I have also been able

                              to complete two versions of my new multi purpose woodland and cropland board.

                              2/09/09 While working on the checkout for the table top terrain. I will also launch three new items for its return,

                              desert themed minefields and barbed wire entanglements for the desert and european theatres.

                              1/09/09 First of the pages to undergo the new checkout process will be the table top range. I am having a few problems

                              with PayPal's limited postal options, but believe that for uk customers postage is working out reasonably accurately.

                              Once I am happy with the final look, the page will be available again.
